country to participate in VIDHI KHEL MAHOTSAV (VKM).

Rules and Regulations
Eligibility:
Vidhi Khel invites our esteemed Current / former judge in Supreme Court / High Court / District Court / Tribunal of India, advocate enrolled in any Bar Association of India, law students studying in any year of any law college of India, legal / Para legal Professional / Staff across the country to participate in VIDHI KHEL MAHOTSAV (VKM)
Registration:
Online registration through our official website (www.vidhikhel.com) REGISTRATION CLOSES: 22-07-2025
One T-shirt, Cap and participation medal for every participants.

Tournament Days:
26th July (Saturday) and 27th March (Sunday) 2025
All participants are FREE to register themselves for more than one sports category
The participants shall be provided with T-shirts (1) and Cap (1), on successful registration. The participants shall collect the same from their Co-ordinator.
All participants shall be provided with mementos and digital certificates.
The participants shall be provided with only one set of T-shirt and Cap, irrespective of the number of sports and categories registered.
The Organising Committee will provide the sports equipment to the participants before the matches. The participants shall be responsible to return the same at the end of their match
Cricket Rules & Format

Registration Fee : Rs. 1000 for each player
Team Composition: Each team will consist of 11 players
Match Duration: 10 Overs
Overs and Bowling: Each bowler can bowl a maximum of 3 overs
No Balls and Wides: A no-ball or wide results in an extra ball being bowled, and runs will be added to the team’s total.
Dismissals: Dismissals follow traditional cricket rules: Bowled, Caught, LBW, Run Out, Stumped, etc. If all batsmen are out, the match ends.
Substitutions: Maximum 2 substitutions are allowed , only from registered players of Vidhi Khel Mahotsav.
Tie: In case of time, Super Over will be used to decide winner
Format: Knock out
Conduct: Respect for opponents, officials, and the spirit of the game is expected.
Umpires’ decisions are final.
Table Tennis (Singles/Double) Rules & Format

Registration Fee : Rs. 1000 for each player
Game Format: Matches will be played in a best of 5 games format.
Scoring System:
- Each game is played to 11 points. Players must win by at least 2 points.
- Players switch sides after every game.
Serve:
- The server must serve the ball from behind the end line, bouncing it once on their side before crossing to the opponent’s side.
- Each player serves 2 points, after which the serve switches.
Faults:
- A fault occurs if the ball does not bounce on both sides of the table or if it is missed entirely.
- A let is called when the serve hits the net but lands in the correct service box.
Conduct: Players are expected to maintain sportsmanship and respect the umpire’s decisions. The use of mobile phones and other distractions is prohibited.
Tennis (Singles/Doubles) Rules & Format

Registration Fee : Rs. 1000 for each player
General Rules:
- Game Format: Matches will be best of 3 sets, with a 7-point tie-breaker for the third set.
- Scoring System:
- The traditional tennis scoring system (15, 30, 40, game) applies.
- A set is won by the first player/team to reach 6 games, with a 2-game lead.
- In the case of a 6-6 tie, a tiebreaker will decide the set (7 points, with a 2-point lead).
- Serve:
- The server must serve from behind the baseline and alternate between left and right sides.
- A player has 2 serves to get the ball in play. A double fault results in a point for the opponent.
- Faults:
- A fault occurs if the ball lands outside the court or hits the net.
Conduct:
- Players must respect the referee’s decisions.
- No coaching or interference is allowed during play.
Badminton (Singles/Doubles) Rule & Format

Registration Fee: Rs. 1000 for each player
Game Format: Matches will be played in a best of 3 games format.
Scoring System:
- Rally Scoring: Points are awarded for every rally won.
- Each game is played to 21 points (with a 2-point lead required to win).
- A match is won by the first player/team to win 2 games.
Serve:
- The server must serve diagonally to the opponent’s service box.
- The server must serve from below the waist and the shuttlecock must be hit in one continuous motion.
Faults: A fault is committed if the shuttlecock lands outside the boundaries, passes through or under the net, or the player touches the net with their body or racket.
Substitutions (Doubles): Players in doubles can only change sides at the end of the first game, or after every alternate game.
Conduct: Players must avoid excessive appeals or arguing with the referee. Respect for opponents and sportsmanship are essential.
Football Rules & Format

Registration Fee : Rs. 1000 for each player
Team Composition: Each team will consist of 6 players (including the goalkeeper).
Match Duration: The match will consist of two equal halves, each 15 minutes long, with a 5-minute break in between.
Substitutions: Unlimited substitutions are allowed, but only when the ball is out of play.
Offside: There is no offside rule in this format of football.
Fouls: Any physical contact such as tripping, pushing, or handling the ball results in a free kick.
A yellow card may be issued for unsporting behaviour, and a red card results in the player’s immediate removal from the game.
Goalkeeper: The goalkeeper must stay within the penalty area and is not allowed to cross into the field of play.
Scoring and Outcome: In the event of a draw, penalty shootouts will determine the winner.
Chess (Individual) Rules & Format

Registration Fee : Rs. 1000 for each player
Game Format: Each match is a single game of standard chess.
Time Control: A 10-minute time control for each player, using a chess clock.
Moves: The game follows standard chess rules:
The player who moves first is determined randomly (with the white pieces).
En passant, castling, and pawn promotion rules apply.
Draws can occur by stalemate, threefold repetition, or insufficient material.
Check and Checkmate: Players must announce “check” when putting the opponent’s king in check. A game ends when a player’s king is checkmated.
Conduct: Players must respect the time limit and move promptly. The use of electronic devices during the game is strictly prohibited.
